- 20+ years in project development across real estate, infrastructure, ag-tech, waste-tech and chemical tech in United States, Middle East, Africa and Latin America (>$50B in total value)
- Founded the R&D company in 2017 which delivered the WhiteBoxTM plant with Nestlé
- Former MD of AgriSecura & SecuraCapital for Africa, focused on infrastructure technology and ethical food security solutions
- Former Head of Special Projects at ALDAR Properties, delivering high profile assets under the Plan Abu Dhabi 2030 Urban Structure Framework Plan
- Under David Scott’s leadership, was former Manager of Strategic Affairs for the Executive Affairs Authority (‘EAA’) in Abu Dhabi, with a focus on modularized infrastructure technology solutions at the nexus of energy water, food, & waste.

- 20+ years in development, finance, construction and operational management for megaprojects.
- Former MD of Blackstone infrastructure development platform in Africa (Black Rhino Group).
- Head of Legal for the $4.7B Gautrain Rapid Rail Project, Africa’s largest ever Public Private Partnership, the first high-speed rail system in Africa.
- Former General Counsel of SEACOM (first broadband submarine cable system along eastern and southern coast of Africa).

- Chemical Engineer Executive with 31 years in BiCarb business management, plant management and engineering roles.
- Has designed, built, & operated every BiCarb plant in North America except for Church & Dwight (Arm &Hammer).
- Oversaw engineering teams & managed the commissioning of BiCarb operations for both FMC & for Searles Valley Minerals.
- Designed, built, and operated Natural Soda with Bill Gunn (WhiteBoxTM Ltd Executive Vice Chairman).
- Designed the lithium carbonate reactors adopted by Rio Tinto across its portfolio.

- Founded, listed, and exited AmerAlia Inc (later Natural Soda), one of the largest BiCarb companies in North America.
- Successfully produced and sold multiple grades of BiCarb in excess of 250,000 tons per annum.
- Founder of Gunn Agri, a $750M agricultural asset manager of>2.7M acres, investors include Australian government-owned Clean Energy Finance Corporation ($10.8B AUM) and Canadian pension fund Caisse de Dépôt ($424B AUM).
- Qualified CPA in Australia & USA.

- Seasoned Chemicals Executive, career highlights include Group Executive at AECI Group, ($1B revenue, 6,000 employees).
- Promoted from Chemical Cluster Executive to Group Executive of AECI.
- Chairman of 3 business units, AECI Water (ImproChem), Much Asphalt, SMSA, & AECI Innovation & Strategic Growth Strategy.
- Former Board Member & CEO of Chlor-Alkali Holdings.
- Former Chairman of NCP Chlorchem, Walvis Bay Salt Holdings, Botswana Ash, Cerebos & Watersol.

- 25+ years in the cement industry in various process engineering and management roles focused on emissions management, circular economy and project development in South Africa, Texas and Europe.
- During that time Mr. Ottermann led more than 100 people and managed processes that produced 2.3 million tons of cement. As Group Energy Manager at PPC Cement developed many circular economy projects including the development of a 60 MW wind farm on an operating limestone quarry scaled the implementation of energy projects internationally for the company.
- More recently Mr. Ottermann built a large (500 ton per day) municipal solid waste to energy plant near Cape Town.
- Egmont has also been working with various UN organisations (UNIDO, FAO, UNEP) in the past 10 years on energy management, circular economy, emission management and the disposal of obsolete pesticides.

• Founded and led EverEdge Global to a successful trade sale, developing and leading 2,500+ strategy engagements and supporting US$2.5 bn in transactions. Clients included the likes of Hitachi, Siemens, Danone, Coca Cola & Comcast
• Managed IP and strategic projects at Navman, contributing to its acquisition by Brunswick.
• Held key advisory and directorial roles, driving growth and strategic initiatives for various organizations, also being named among the World’s Top 300 IP Strategists by IAM (the industry’s leading publication) for 12 consecutive years (<5 have this track record).

- Former CEO of Unilever UK & Ireland with >30 years in Consumer Packaged Goods (‘CPG’).
- Chairman of WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) - a global NGO based in the UK to tackle climate change and protect the planet by changing the way things are produced, consumed and disposed of.
- Chairman of Campden BRI, a company that provides scientific, technical and legislative support to the food, drink and allied industries. Campden BRI has >2,500 member companies across 80 countries.
- Chairman of Ad Net Zero (the advertising industry's climate emergency global action programme).
- Member of steering groups for industry associations, The Institute of Grocery Distribution, The Inclusive Economy Partnership run by the Cabinet Office, Henry Dimbleby's independent national food strategy.

- First G7 country Minister to secure Net Zero legislation (for the UK).
- Secured COP26 for the UK.
- Former Chairman of the APPG (All-Party Parliamentary Group for the Environment).
- Former Minister of State jointly at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the Department for Education.
- Former Member of Parliament (May 2010- Jan 2024); led the Net Zero Review for the UK Government (delivered Jan 2023); commissioned by the UK Treasury (Jan 2023) to identify specific regulatory barriers to green finance.
- Climate Fellow for the Harvard John Kennedy School.

- Former Senior Managing Director at York Capital Management, an $18.5B alternative investment management firm where he helped lead the firm’s private equity activities
- Former associate at Bain Capital in Boston, where he focused on leveraged buyouts within technology, healthcare, and business services sectors
- Served on the board of directors of Petrologistics, Shell Vacations, Cuming Flotation Technologies, Primus Telecom, Bay Club, American Car Center, York GTL, and Cantium

- Executive Chairman of Brazen Alger; Rail logistics moving ~3.4M tons of commodities per annum & trades ~600k tons of commodities per annum into Europe and China.
- Founder of Sunlight Capital; Pan African postproduction partner for Amazon Prime Content. Most recent production, Death of a Whistle Blower, won best African Film at the Johannesburg Film Festival.
- Former Executive in Telecoms, Water & Sanitation Infrastructure.

- Frank Haney Jr. is the operating President of FLH. Today, FLH Company has a combined development portfolio of more than $10 billion and 15 million square feet of space.
- FLH Company’s leading marketplace is the Washington DC area, with more than 1 million square feet of office space in the Portals Office Complex, and a multi-billion dollar investment in the Dulles Greenway Toll Road in suburban Virginia. Other current projects outside of DC include the Internal Revenue Service building in Memphis, the Social Security Payment Center in Birmingham, Alabama, and Dawson’s’ Ridge Community located in Colorado. Previous notable projects include the 35-story Marietta Tower in downtown Atlanta, Georgia.
- In the 1980s, FLH diversified into food and beverage investments, including the purchase of a Coca-Cola bottling company and a Miller beer distributorship, but the company’s core focus remained the continued development of properties, including a series of convention center luxury hotels. The company developed and constructed more than 2,500 luxury hotel rooms. Current projects in the food and beverage industry include Premium Brands – a wholesale beer and Red Bull distributor servicing the counties of North Arkansas. A leading company within its industry, Premium boasts some of the biggest beer brands such as: Miller Lite, Coors Light, Corona, and Blue Moon.
